Counselling
Sometimes we need a space to pause.
To speak. To feel. To be witnessed.
To reconnect with something meaningful.
Who is this for?
You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to come to counselling. You might be:
-
Going through a change or feeling stuck
-
Dealing with anxiety or emotional overwhelm
-
Exploring identity, creativity blocks, or belonging
-
Feeling disconnected and wanting to understand yourself more
-
Looking for a space to reflect, slow down, or reconnect with your inner life
-
Want to complement therapy work or want to do a first step towards understanding your patterns and behaviours before starting therapy

FAQ
What is counselling?
Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk freely and be heard without judgment. It helps you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences — and supports you in making sense of what’s going on inside and around you.
What is Gestalt Counselling?
Gestalt counselling is a relational, creative approach that focuses on what you’re feeling and experiencing in the present moment more than what happened to you in the past. It helps you build awareness, understand patterns, and build strategies to reach your goals — not just through talking, but also through your body, breath, and emotions awareness.
What can I expect in a session?
You might talk about a situation, a feeling, a pattern in your relationships, or something you’ve noticed in your body or mood. We’ll explore it — with curiosity and openness, to find together the next steps for the situation. Sessions are guided by what’s present for you, and may include dialogue, body awareness, or simple creative tools. There’s no need to prepare — you’re welcome just as you are.
Is it therapy?
No — this is not formal therapy. I am a counsellor-in-training, currently in the final year of a professional training in Gestalt Empowerment. As part of this process, I offer low-cost sessions to build experience and deepen my learning.
These sessions are held with care, confidentiality, and under regular clinical supervision — but they are not the same as working with a fully qualified therapist. If you’re looking for formal therapy or clinical support, I’m happy to help you find a qualified practitioner.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is confidential, within the limits of professional ethics. I also bring my work to supervision - a confidential space where I reflect on my work with a qualified professional to supports my learning and to ensure that I’m offering safe and ethical. Your identity is always protected
